Ballet and pointe

Emily Haman will be teaching some of our beginning to intermediate ballet classes on Thursday evenings.  Emily is originally from Raleigh, NC where she trained at the Triangle Academy of Dance under the direction of Annette Hagopian and Margaret Severin-Hansen from Carolina Ballet. While at the Triangle Academy of Dance she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and modern with her focus mainly on ballet and she joined their Professional Trainee Program. She was also a member of Carolina Youth Ballet where she performed numerous ballets and has had featured roles.  Her professional experience includes dancing with Roanoke Ballet Theatre and Ballet Embody where she is currently dancing. She has been teaching for 2 years now and has experience teaching in the genres of ballet, jazz, and tap and loves teaching students of all levels.
